Please see part-1 of this article to aid your understanding. (ESTABLISHED IN CHRIST FOR HIS KINGDOM PURPOSES (1) – Feast of light)

The spiritual implications of being established by God is that:

  1. You are anchored in His truth, His Word, not swayed by circumstances. – what lies have you believed about yourself or that circumstance? Psalm 119:105“Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.”

Matthew 7:24-27 – 24 Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

  • Storms are inevitable in life — spiritually, emotionally, financially.
  • God does not always prevent storms, but He always promises His presence.
  • Foundation matters: storms reveal what we are built on.

Hebrews 6:19

NKJV: “This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil.”

NLT: “This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.”

Message: Our hope in Christ is the anchor that keeps us grounded, even when storms rage.

Psalm 119:160

NLT: “The very essence of your words is truth; all your just regulations will stand forever.”

NKJV: “The entirety of Your word is truth, and every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.”

Message: God’s truth is eternal—it doesn’t shift with culture or crisis.

Proverbs 3:5-6 – NLT: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”

Matthew 7:24-25 – NLT: “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock… Though the rain comes… the house won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock.”

  • You are confirmed in your identity and purpose. – this means you know who you are in Christ, 2 Corinthians 5:17 – “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”
  • Anchored in calling – focused, not distracted
  • Strong in faith – unshaken and fruitful.
  • Becoming who God has called you to be
  • You are protected and empowered to fulfil His calling. Understand that challenges are not signs of failure but of God preparing and shaping you.

Ask God to reveal what He is teaching you through difficulty, rather than only asking for it to end.

1 Peter 5:10 – “But [a]may the God of all grace, who called [b]us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, [c]perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.”

How can we be established?

  1. In Christ built to lastColossians 2:6-7 “” – Spiritual maturity and stability through discipleship – growing roots through scripture & prayer, living a life that withstands storms. 1 Peter 5:10
  2. In Righteousness; in aligning our will to God’sIsaiah 54:14 “In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you.” Righteousness means alignment to God’s will & Purposes
  3. In the House of the LordPsalm 92:13 – “Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish…” flourishing through fellowship, serving with consistency
  4. By Grace not worksHebrew 13:9 “Do not be carried [a]about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them.”

Grace is not just a concept, but it is power in weakness. God’s grace works in suffering, not just in celebrations. We all have a thorn in our flesh like Apostle Paul ask God for grace

The Establishment Process

James 1:2-4 – “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces [a]patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be [b]perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”

  • Trials build endurance and deepen roots.
  • Establishment is not instant — it is cultivated through trust.
  • God does not waste pain; He uses it to confirm and call.
  • God does not want us to just survive but to Thrive

DECLARE: The storm is not the end – it is a setup for establishment.

Find rest. God will surely establish you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

Isaiah 43:18–19 – “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”

  • Release the weight of the past
  • Forget the past pain, past success, past identity – they do not compare to what is coming
  • God is already working – God’s work often starts before we notice
  • Faith is not just about waiting, it is about perceiving
  • Establishment requires spiritual awareness and readiness
  • Provision and direction in unlikely places – God will bring clarity in confusion, abundance in scarcity

What are you still holding onto that God says “forget”?

DECLARE:

  • God is already doing something new – and He is establishing me in it in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
  • I am being established for things my mind cannot imagine in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

God bless you in Jesus Name. Amen
