Scripture Foundation
Galatians 6:9 (NKJV): “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”

The Bible teaches that every covenant child of God has a due season, a God appointed time when divine lifting, divine visibility, and supernatural reward manifest. A due season is not random. It is not determined by human opinion, natural timing, or environmental conditions. It is appointed, controlled, and orchestrated by God Almighty. When that season comes, no demon, devil, resistance, or system can stop what God has scheduled for your life.

But Scripture also reveals that before a believer enters that due season, there is always a period of doing good. This is the season of sowing. It is the season of obedience, consistency, faithfulness, and spiritual diligence.

Dear friend, let us explore this truth more deeply.

1. Difficult Seasons Do Not Last Forever

The Bible consistently shows that hardship is never permanent for the believer.
• Israel was enslaved for 430 years, but their due season came (Exodus 12:40–42).
• Joseph spent years in obscurity, betrayal, imprisonment, and misunderstanding, yet his due season suddenly arrived when God elevated him from the prison to the palace (Genesis 41:14). I decree over you today, that God will move you from the prison of adversity and limitation to the palace of your destiny, in Jesus Name. Amen
• Hannah endured years of barrenness, but her due season came when she birthed Samuel, a prophetic giant in Israel (1 Samuel 1:20).

Every believer in Christ Jesus must understand this key-fact: “that pain is seasonal, but God’s promises are eternal.”

Nobody likes difficult seasons but the hard truth is this: “Difficult seasons test us, train us, and refine us, but they do not define us.”

God always leads you and I (His covenant children) into a due season of divine fulfilment.

2. The Principle of Divine Timing

Galatians 6:9 uses the phrase “in due season.” In Scripture, “due season” refers to the set time that God Himself appoints.

Psalm 102:13 (NKJV): “You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come.”

There is a set time for God’s favour, lifting, promotion, exposure, and reward.

Dear friend, human effort can prepare you, but only God can bring you into your due season.

When God announces you, no one can silence you. When God opens a door, no one can shut it.

Just stay completely and wholeheartedly connected to God, and your “due season” will surely come, in Jesus Name. Amen

3. Before Due Season Comes: “Doing Good”

Paul teaches that the pathway to due season is found in the phrase “doing good.” Doing good is not limited to charity. It encompasses spiritual, moral, and kingdom disciplines.

Doing good includes:

a. Time spent in prayer

Prayer builds intimacy and aligns your heart with God (Luke 18:1). Prayer shapes your character for your due season.

b. Walking in obedience and humility

Obedience positions you for divine lifting.
James 4:10 (NKJV): “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.”

c. Feeding on God’s Word

Studying the word renews your mind and imparts spiritual wisdom (Joshua 1:8; Psalm 119:105). No man enters his due season without alignment to Scripture.

d. Growing in grace and knowledge (The Growth principle)

Growth is not accidental. It is deliberate, intentional and will involve diligence and consistency.

2 Peter 3:18 commands believers to grow. Growth is part of “doing good.”

Dear reader, remember this profound principle; “You cannot operate at palace level with wilderness-level mentality and maturity.

e. Being faithful in earthly responsibilities

“Doing good” also includes:

  • Being a loving husband
  • Being a committed wife
  • Being a responsible father or mother
  • Excelling in your work
  • Serving faithfully in church or ministry
  • Diligence in investing and utilising the gifting, resources, time or calling God has given you to serve humanity and His Kingdom here on earth

Luke 16:10 (NKJV): “He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much.”

Key-point: Dear friend, “faithfulness in small places triggers promotion to greater places.”

4. Remaining Steadfast Until Your Season Comes

Galatians 6:9 warns, “Do not grow weary.”

Weariness is the enemy of destiny. Many believers faint spiritually before their breakthrough arrives. The scripture reveals that reaping is guaranteed if we do not lose heart.

Your due season is not activated by frustration, jealousy, comparison, or impatience.

It is triggered by sustained obedience to God, His Word, His Will, and the divine work He has called you to do here on earth.

5. When the Due Season Comes, God Ensures Manifestation

A due season is God’s supernatural announcement of a believer.
• David was anointed in secret but his due season brought him to the throne.
• Esther was a foreign orphan but her due season brought her before the king.
• Jesus lived in obscurity until His due season began at the Jordan River.

When your due season comes, God lifts you. God promotes you. God reveals your gifts. God announces you to the world. And no demonic force can hinder it.

Shout, “Hallelujah!”

Final Remark

Your due season is real. It is appointed. It is coming. Keep sowing. Keep praying. Keep obeying. Keep learning. Keep loving. Keep walking in humility. Keep doing good. For in God’s time, you will reap the harvest He has prepared for your life.

Altar call: For anyone reading this article who is not saved and wants to be part of the family of God or you want to re-dedicate your life back to Jesus, please repeat this out loud. “Lord Jesus, I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my old ways and ask You to forgive me. Come into my heart, be my Lord and Saviour. Fill me with Your Spirit and help me live for You. Thank You for saving me, in Jesus Name. Amen

Prayer: Father arise in Your mercy, and command my divine “due season” to manifest by fire, in Jesus Name
