Bible Text: Zechariah 8:6; “This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: All this may seem impossible to you now, a small remnant of God’s people. But is it impossible for me? says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.” NLT

Introduction: God’s Perspective versus Human Limitation

Dear reader, no matter the obstacle that confronts you, once you know God’s word on a matter, receive it by faith and act on it. In Zechariah 8:6, God speaks to a discouraged remnant of Israel who had returned from Babylonian exile. Jerusalem was in ruins, its former glory a distant memory. The people could not imagine the city ever thriving again. Yet God responds to their limited vision with a profound question: “But is it impossible for Me?” This rhetorical question challenges all human doubt and sets a divine principle: Impossibility exists in the human mind, not in God’s reality.

1. God’s Nature Defies the Impossible

Jeremiah 32:27 (NKJV)“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?”

God identifies Himself as the God of all flesh—all humanity, creation, and circumstances are under His dominion. Nothing escapes His control, and nothing is too difficult for Him. He doesn’t ask whether the remnant has the resources or manpower; He points to His own ability. This is critical for believers: our faith must be based on who God is, not on what we see or what we feel or what men’s limited wisdom declare.

2. The Testimony of Scripture Confirms It

  • Genesis 18:14 (NKJV): “Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you… and Sarah shall have a son.”
Sarah’s barrenness seemed like a permanent reality. But God made a promise and fulfilled it, defying age, biology, and expectation.
  • Luke 18:27 (NKJV): “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
Jesus stated this truth in the context of salvation, but the principle applies to every area of life: God can do what man cannot.

3. Faith Is the Bridge to the Impossible

Throughout the Gospels, Jesus often said, “Your faith has made you well” (Mark 5:34, Luke 8:48). There is a strong emphasis on positive thinking in the world today, and in my humble opinion, there is certainly a place for it. However, Bible-based faith is not the same as positive thinking—it is trust in God’s power, His nature, and His promises

  • Mark 9:23 (NKJV): “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

Faith activates divine power. It doesn’t mean we ignore our challenges—it means we see them through the lens of God’s limitless ability.

4. Real-Life Applications: No Area is Exempt

a. Health:

Has the doctor diagnosed a terminal illness? God still heals. He healed the blind, the leper, the paralytic, and raised the dead.

  • Psalm 103:3 (NKJV): “Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases.”

Anyone sick in their body reading this article, place your hand on that area: Be healed now, in Jesus Name. Amen

b. Finances:

Are you facing financial lack or debt? God provided for the widow in 2 Kings 4, multiplied food in John 6, and still meets needs today.

  • Philippians 4:19 (NKJV): “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Anyone reading this article and going through financial difficulties, I declare over you: Receive supernatural supply now, in Jesus Name.

c. Marriage and Family:

Is your marriage in crisis? God is the restorer of broken relationships. He heals hearts, reconciles spouses, and brings peace.

  • Malachi 4:6 (NKJV): “And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers.”

Anyone going through marital storms, I come as an agent of God’s light and declare: Peace into your home now, in Jesus Name. Amen.

d. Purpose and Destiny:

Do you feel stuck, lost, or like your calling has expired? God is not limited by time or your past.

  • Joel 2:25 (NKJV): “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten…”

Anyone whose destiny seems truncated or blocked, I decree in the mighty name of Jesus: Your destiny comes alive now—receive clarity in your divine purpose in life, in Jesus Name. Amen.

5. God’s Track Record Is Proof Enough

The Bible is filled with real stories of impossible turnarounds:

  • The Red Sea parted (Exodus 14).
  • Jericho’s walls fell (Joshua 6).
  • A valley of dry bones came to life (Ezekiel 37).
  • Jesus rose from the dead (Matthew 28).

These are not myths—they are divine interventions that reveal what happens when God steps in.

Conclusion: Anchor Your Faith in the God of the Impossible

God’s question in Zechariah 8:6 still applies today: “Is it impossible for Me?” The answer remains: Nothing is impossible with God.
Whether you’re dealing with sickness, financial struggle, family issues, or broken dreams, know this—God will turn it around.

Let your response be: “Lord, I believe.” Because when you believe, His power is released—and what once seemed impossible becomes your testimony.

God bless you dear reader, in Jesus Name. Amen
