Are These Standards (of the Proverbs 31 Woman) Reachable For Women Today?
But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26)
I am speaking prophetically to a daughter of Zion reading this, Jesus says to you “that you can be and are the Proverbs 31 woman that the world is desperately looking for in order to draw the hearts of all men to Him.”
As Christians, we are all called to be ‘Christlike’. Jesus Christ is our role model, we should strive to be like him, to point to him as he pointed to God the Father. We need to go through the sanctification process assisted by the power of the Holy Spirit, is something we all must try to achieve.
Matthew 5:48 tells us to be perfect even as our Father in heaven is – “But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.” This means that being perfect is attainable through the help of the Holy Spirit’s ability to sanctify us repeatedly throughout our days. The bible will not tell us to do something that is unattainable.
As such, we all can strive to be like the wife of noble character; Proverbs 31 woman. We can strive to be hardworking, industrious, kind-hearted, compassionate, charitable, intelligent, and business savvy. We can strive to let every word that comes from our lips be one that motivates, uplifts and inspires people rather than words that tears down and destroys people.
We do this because we desire to be like Christ and as “Christ’s ambassadors,” (2 Corinthians 5:20) we hereby encourage others to be worthy of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ too! We know we can thrive to be “perfect” and work diligently enough to win our place in heaven through the help and leading of the Holy Spirit and this is a Grace from God Almighty! Hallelujah!
