It means that Jesus is the source and the giver of peace. He is the one who can calm our troubled hearts and minds, and bring us into a right relationship with God and others. He is the one who will ultimately establish peace on earth when He returns as the King of kings and the Lord of lords.

Some Bible verses that support this are:

Isaiah 9:6, NIV: For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace1.

John 14:27, NIV: Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Ephesians 2:14, NIV: For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility.

Colossians 1:19-20, NIV: For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

Revelation 19:11-16, NIV: I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

According to the Bible, Jesus spoke to the storm and said, “Peace, be still”. The wind stopped, and everything became calm. (Mark 4:39)

39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace,be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.  NKJV

I decree over anyone who is being tossed about by the winds of life & affliction, that those evil winds in your life, hear the word of the Lord now, “peace, be still in the name of Jesus”. I decree that God will bring divine calmness now to every trouble that is confronting you in the name of Jesus. If you believe God has done it, shout “Hallelujah!”
