Word to Lift Up Your Soul
Psalm 66:12 (NKJV):
“You have caused men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water; But You brought us out to rich fulfillment.”
Beloved, you may have walked through the fire of affliction, enduring trials that seemed unbearable. You may have waded through the waters of adversity, feeling as though you were drowning under the weight of your challenges. Perhaps the burdens of life have roared and screamed at you, weighing heavily upon your head and your heart.
But I want to encourage you today—do not lose hope!
As long as you stay connected to God, He will not leave you in the land of affliction. The same God who allowed you to pass through the fire and the water will also bring you into a place of rich fulfillment, abundant joy, and glorious victory.
Hold fast to Him!
- In the fire, He is with you, just as He was with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego (Daniel 3:24-25). You will not be consumed.
- In the waters, He will not allow you to be overwhelmed, just as He promised in Isaiah 43:2: “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.”
God is faithful. What you are going through now is not your final destination—it is only a passage. The trials that seem overwhelming today are part of His divine process to bring you into a greater testimony.
So, lift up your eyes and fix them on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Place your hope in Him, for He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all you could ever ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
I declare over your life today:
- You are coming out of the fire refined, stronger, and filled with His glory.
- You are coming out of the waters refreshed, victorious, and ready to walk in His abundant blessings.
- The weight of your difficulties will not crush you; they will be turned into stepping stones for your promotion.
Stay connected to God, and you will see His hand bring you out of the land of affliction into the place of His divine abundance. Rejoice, for your season of rich fulfillment is near in Jesus Name, Amen.
