Trusting God from a biblical perspective involves both belief and action. Remember, trusting God isn’t about ignoring your feelings or pretending everything is okay. It’s about living a life of belief in and obedience to God, even when it’s difficult

Below are some bible Verses about Trusting God (ESV) that you can meditate on, and with faith and trust in God, you too will overcome obstacles that come your way during trials in life;

  1. Proverbs 3:5-6:“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
  2. Jeremiah 17:7-8:“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”
  3. Psalm 56:3:“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”
  4. Proverbs 16:3:“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”
  5. Isaiah 43:2:“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.”
  6. Psalm 143:8:“Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.”
