Mental Health Awareness Week (May 2025): A Prayer-Confession for Mental Healing and Strength
Heavenly Father,
There is no name in the universe like the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, therefore we lift up every single person facing mental health challenges into Your loving arms. You are the God who heals, comforts, and restores. We ask that You calm every storm of anxiety, lift every weight of depression, and bring peace where there is confusion, in Jesus Name.
Lord, Your Word says You are near to the broken-hearted (Psalm 34:18), so be near to them now. Heal their minds, soothe their hearts, and surround them with love, support, and understanding. Give them courage to seek help, strength to keep going, and hope for tomorrow. May they know they are not aloneāfor You walk with them always, in Jesus Name.
Bless the exceptional and compassionate work of doctors, therapists, and carers. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), in Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
